Privacy notice

This notice explains what Rankpax collects and why. The operating company name, address and data-protection contact must be added before launch.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password.
• Workspace content: projects, domains, competitors, saved research, briefs and action plans you create.
• Usage records: searches, audits and briefs used, so allowances can be shown and enforced.
• Security records: sign-up IP address and rate-limit counters, to prevent abuse of the free plan.
• Billing: handled by our payment processor. We store subscription identifiers, not card numbers.

Website audits

When you audit a website, our crawler requests its public pages, identifies itself as RankpaxBot and respects robots.txt. Only audit websites you own or are authorised to check.

Data providers

Keyword and ranking estimates come from licensed third-party providers. Your search terms are sent to them to fulfil the request.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account from Account settings, which removes your workspace data. Retention periods for backups and billing records must be confirmed before launch.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction or deletion by contacting us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
